Truesound 2010 Tour continues! This time in Terminal Club in Rijeka, with Serbian superstar DJ and producer Marko Milicevic a.k.a.
Gramophonedzie!
The Belgrade based, Serbian currently riding the success of his massive worldwide hit ‘Why Don’t You’.
With his roots spanning a wide musical spectrum and a deep passion for funky music, live instruments and intensive vocals, Marko’s production career began in 2000 when he was selected to study at the Red Bull Music Academy in Ireland. He subsequently completed a degree in Sound Design at Belgrade University and went onto produce soundtracks for a number of commercials, films and television as well as producing for several Serbian bands. Most notably he wrote the theme for Big Brother in the Balkans.
Marko has been producing as
Gramophonedzie for the last 4 years. Under this pseudonym he has signed tracks to a range of independent labels such as Gotta Keep Faith, Yazuka, Guesthouse, DiskoZoo, Oxyd and Shak Digital. The ‘Swinging With The Fishes EP’ that he signed to Guesthouse in 2009 featured ‘Why Don’t You’ – a jackin’ house track that samples Peggy Lee’s swing standard
‘Why Don’t You Do Right’.

‘Why Don’t You’ went on to be one of the biggest club records of 2009 and received widespread club support from the likes of Erick Morillo and Steve Angello to Dennis Ferrer and Louie Vega. It also received major radio support right across Europe with Giles Peterson (Radio 1) naming it his track of 2009. Now signed to Postiva, ‘Why Don’t You’ recently hit #12 in the UK Sales Chart on its first week of release and remained in the Top 20 for several weeks. ‘Why Don’t You’ has also achieved major success throughout Europe hitting #7 and #26 in the Belgian and Dutch Sales Charts respectively, as well... (MORE FIGURES HERE)... It has also racked up over 1,000,000 views on YouTube and has enjoyed widespread airplay across both TV and radio.
Marko has also put the magic Gramophonedzie remix touch to a number of artists. Throughout 2009 he remixed the likes of DJ Sneak, Mange Le Funk, The Young Punx and P’Taah, while he is currently working on high profile remixes for Professor Green (‘I Need You Tonight’) and Jean Jaques Smoothie (‘2 People’).
As a DJ, Marko has been playing for over 15 years in Serbia alongside the likes of Bob Sinclar, Derrick Carter, Junior Jack, David Morales, The Shapeshifters, Basement Jaxx, Tom Novy, Axwell and Roger Sanchez. He is now a bonafide superstar in the Balkans and is taking his DJ sound across the world, touring extensively throughout Europe and with a U.S. tour in the pipeline. Recent shows on his hectic tour schedule include Matter (London), Sankeys (Manchester) and a number of showcase events for the likes of Positiva and Guesthouse in Miami for WMC 2010. There is no doubt that Gramophonedzie is one of the fastest rising stars for 2010!!
Alongside Gramophonedzie, on this event will appear DJ Alex Ivanov from Rijeka who will play unique DJ set till the morning sunshine. For warming-up the dancefloor, we have invited Matt Flacius and Nathan Hunt from Labin. They will do the fantastic job for sure and nobody will be left indifferent.
Ticket price for this event is 50 kn in presale, and 60 kn on the date of the event and on the entrance. Tickets are available from 07.05.2010. Number of tickets in presale is limited!
